Hutchinson Consulting Engineers provided engineering design and supervision for the remediation of the damaged seawall and boat ramp at Whale Cove, Red Beach. The wharf is used regularly by local kayak, small boat and general recreation users, and had been washed away by the tide over time.
Hutchinson completed the design and supervision for Auckland Council and the ramp was reopened to the public in 2019.
